One of the newest finishes we have begun to incorporate in our offerings is Loba Easy Finish. Loba finishes are high quality finishes made in Germany and we are starting to see the benefit of using them.
The reason we haven’t used them in the past is because of a lack of local distribution. We have had to work hard to make arrangements to get their products shipped to us from out of state so that we can provide our clients with the best products the market has to offer.
Loba Easy Finish is a single component waterbased finish that is as durable as some of the most popular two component commercial waterbased finishes. With the benefit of a lower price point. This is a great finish for mildly active households.
Another great benefit of Loba Easy Finish is that is has a fast cure time compared to other finishes. It is 90% cured within 24 hours and reaches 100% cured within 5 days so you can get back to normal floor use sooner than many other finishes.
The finish is really clear which looks absolutely beautiful on maple floors. It is our favorite finish for when we do just a clear coat of finish on maple hardwood flooring. (We love to stain maple floors the most when we come across them.) Being that the finish is clear it wont overly amber overtime like some other types of finishes.
The finish has a low VOC level so it wont stink up your house for days. It only takes a couple of hours to get rid of any finish smell as opposed to some finishes which take days to air out the house.
We feel this is a great finish with excellent durability that will be well suited for most people that desire to have a waterbased finish.
