One of the most asked questions we receive is “what cleaning product should I use on my floor?”
There is many good choices out there as well poor ones. One cleaner we highly recommend is Glitsa Clean.
It is a water based product that has a neutral PH so it is biodegradable. It does not contain phosphates. The best part, aside from its cleaning capabilities, is that it does not leave a dulling residue behind. When you are out of cleaner the bottle is recyclable. It is produced by the Glitsa company which is located in Seattle, WA so you are supporting an American product.
Never use any products that claim to “polish” or “refresh” your floors. These usually leave a residue that makes a floor look dull or smudgy. These types of products can contaminate the floor and prevent the success of a maintenance coat of finish, which you want to have done every 5-10 years depending on use of the floor.
